Celebrating 40 Years
of Funding College Journeys
Lincoln-Sudbury Scholarship Fund Dollars for Scholars (LSSF) is proud to celebrate 40 years of acknowledging our Lincoln Sudbury Regional High School graduates. In 1976, Lily Spooner, the founder of LSSF, could never have imagined the fund's growth and the number of students that would benefit from the idea she envisioned 40 years ago. With over $2 million in awards granted since LSSF's inception, thousands of our scholarship recipients have achieved their dreams and created careers they love, thanks to the help LSSF provided. Last May alone, LSSF awarded 91 scholarships to deserving LS grads. The scholarships acknowledged a myriad of students who excelled in academics, sports, arts, and in the community.
Lily's idea could not have been sustained for 40 years without the funding we received from generous members of our community like YOU! Together, we have reached this milestone and we can take pride in the many college journeys we have helped to fund.
As the cost of college continues to rise, the needs of our students are increasing, and the number of LSSF applicants are reaching new heights. LSSF has set a $40,000 goal for our 40th year. We hope we can count on you to continue your support and help us by matching or exceeding your past donations. In the spirit of this milestone year, consider increasing your prior donation by $40. If you are a new donor, please consider an initial $40 donation. All donations are tax deductible.
